Interesting talk: Myths and Facts about Breast Cancer" at IMG Hospital
Bávaro. Last Tuesday, October 22, the facilities of the IMG Hospital in Punta Cana were the scene of the in-person talk entitled "Myths and Realities about Breast Cancer", given by the Medical Director of the IMG Hospital, Dr. Bernardo Pichardo, Gynecologist Laparoscopist Obstetrician and Aesthetic Surgeon. This event was part of the initiatives of the hospital and the IMG Nahir Contreras Foundation in Prato to promote education and prevention on health issues, especially around a disease as relevant as breast cancer.
The talk included the participation of a diverse group of health professionals, including doctors, nurses and other hospital collaborators. During the conference, Dr. Pichardo addressed, in a clear and didactic manner, the main myths and realities surrounding breast cancer, demystifying erroneous beliefs and offering information based on scientific evidence. Attendees had the opportunity to interact dynamically, asking questions and clarifying doubts, which enriched the event and fostered a collaborative learning environment.
